Q. What is your favorite pastime or hobby?

A. So many. Here are a few - fine food (eating & cooking), good movies/TV/theatre/music/Art, golf & other sports, reading etc.... BUT most of all, the company and conversation about all the above with my closest friends.

Q. What is your favorite band or musician?

A. So, so many, but if I had to pick a band it would be that of my youth that still strikes a nostalgic chord. Namely Genesis. Too many favourite musicians from Mozart to BB King to Peter Gabriel. I am currently in awe of Eva Cassidy's voice.

Q. What is your favorite type of music?

A. If I had to pick one genre to take with me everywhere it would be "The Blues"! Closely followed by classical.

Q. What is your favorite play?

A. Pick one of fifteen by Shakespeare

Q. What would be a favorite character you've played so far? And why?

A. A character called Keith in a new play (then) called "Our Boys" which we did in London in 1993 & 1995. Why? Because it was a new play that author/director & actors created and put before audiences. It was very raw, funny then tragic and received huge acclaim and awards. My part was a Northern Irish soldier with a medical condition that lead to his death. He appeared to be as hard as nails and cynical but was underneath very fast and funny, kind, caring, loyal, lonely and terrified. And of course I died which is always good for sympathy!!!!

Q. What is your favorite vacation spot?

A. The whole world is amazing.

Q. Do you own a car/bike? If so, what kind?

A. Car - not telling!

Q. What do you do to stay fit?

A. Use your imagination!

Q. What is your specialty (cooking)?

A. Anything I am trying on that day!

Q. What is your favorite outfit? (jeans and t-shirt, etc.)

A. Whatever is comfortable and right for the occasion concerned.

Q. How long did you live in South America? How old were you when you lived there? How did you come to live there?

A. I lived there for 4 years but went back to boarding school in England after 18 months and visited only in the holidays. 12yrs-16yrs. My father was an engineer and worked with the Ecuadorian Air industry.

Q. Is your sister an actor as well (nephews, nieces)?

A. No. She is married to a wonderful Iranian and lives in Iran. She has one daughter (14) and a son (8)

Q. Were your parents in show business?

A. No, but my mum was a great singer!!!

Q. How did you decide on acting as a profession?

A. Unfortunately it decided for me!!!!

Q. What would you do if you were not an actor?

A. Probably a criminal!!

Q. Would you accept the role of Styles again in the future?

A. Yes.

Q. Which of the characters you've played are most like you?

A. All but then again none. Acting should not be over analyzed it should just be done.
